It is Tuesday morning and I have two days left before heading to Texas for ten days and then off to Chiang Rai. I am excited about this awesome and grand adventure that my Abba is sending me on and sobered by the ache of saying goodbye to the best of my life friends and family.
At my church here, we fasted during the beginning of what we call the "Summer of Love." There will be an engagement soon as a result of the sweet side of love, but quite a few of us learned about the suffering long and forgiving side of love that covers a multitude of sins and keeps no record of wrongs, which is SO against American culture. All of this has so prepped me for really and I mean REALLY loving, so much so that my heart aches and I cry because of the love given to me and the love I cannot help but give back to Him and to all He puts in my path.
As the Beatles put it so precisely, "All we (really do) need is LOVE!!!"
